Directshow filters

Hi,

I wish to ask if I can't get any image in directshowsource what kind of directshow filters are available other than FFDSHOW ?

Is the FFDSHOW the only one available pack ?

I don't like FFDSHOW, I like something smaller and safe to install

You can use any dshow filters that you want. Esp. if you are talking about AVISynth's directshowsource since it can load graphedit graph files, so you can insert whatever filters you like (assuming they are compatible). Otherwise it will just use whatever filters have the highest merit. Same as any other dshow app.

I'm talking about AviSynth's DirectShowSource

I wish to install some DirectShow filters "PACK" in a newer computer, but I don't want FFDSHOW...I want something smaller and safe...because I know cases that FFDSHOW makes the audio out of sync in DirectShowSource...I tested that, and I know that

A new computer assembled by my own, doesn't have anything...I just want to install fewer codecs and fewer filters...all save...I don't like PACKS

So just download and install the individual codecs you need. Use a program like GSpot or AVICodec to identify the codecs used in a file.

Codec pack and safe really don't belong in the same sentence.

ffdshow shouldn't cause sync problems.
