  1. Hello.

My wife's car has a cd player and im very sick of hearing the same old tracks and having to get out the car everytime to switch a CD (5 CD changer in the trunk).

So i wonder if i could take the best songs from my CDs and make into one disk with a regular DVD-R which i would burn with the same format audio files as the CDs have.

Would a car CD player play an audio DVD-R or would i need to buy some sort of audio DVD player?

One more thing since im reading that audio dvd and DVD-Audio arent the same thing...

If yes to buy a audio dvd player for the audio dvds:
Would it play only DVD-Audio disk or burned audio DVD-Rs aswell?

    Thanks.

A regular CD player will not play DVD discs. The laser and mechanism are simply different and incompatible. You would have to get a DVD player for your car. A cheaper alterantive would be to get a CD player that also plays MP3 and WMA files, which would allow you to put hundreds of tracks on a CD.
