  1. hey everyone,

under the "de-interlace" filter there are bunches of options. i know that blend (adaptive) gives the best results and so far worked perfectly. however, for some reason, the last two rips i used with it, the interlaced lines weren't removed. i was told blend (animation) was the one that doesn't seem to work all the time. i assumed blend (adaptive) was basically the same as blend...but just that the CPU analyzes the movie and uses blend when needed. blend (adaptive) has worked to get rid of those pesky lines during scene changes (which are barely noticeable in the first place)...however, the last 2 dvd rips i used it on, blend (adaptive) wasn't able to get rid of the lines. was it cuz the last 2 dvd rips have a lot more scenes with lines in it?....however, i've used blend (adaptive) to remove lines from pure NTSC dvds before and all the lines were removed (but jumpy as hell), so i dunno wut happened with the last 2 rips. help?
