I am having to temporarily use an old motherboard with a Duron 700 (since my the power supply in my old system decided to commit suicide and take everything else with it). I have never overclocked a processor before so I don't know what the safe limits are. I don't want to go too far and blow that one too. I have so far upped the bus speed to 103mhz, giving me 720mhz on the processor, the system has been stable for a week so far. The fan in my system is good up to an Athlon XP 2800+ so a little heat from the processor won't be too much of a problem. What sort of speeds can I expect to get from overclocking (800mhz?), or is 720 the best I can expect, while still having system stability?

What your CPU cooler is rated for is all relative, a 2800+ probably runs cooler than a 700 mHz Duron already, but I digress. With proper cooling (and if my memory is correct) you should get 800 mHz out of that CPU, easily, probably more, maybe much more. Probably set your memory at 133 mHz and a 6x multiplier. Try 6.5x (850 mHz) and go from there, if it's too much, back down the FSB 5 mHz or so.
