problem of converting rmvb file

I was using winavi to convert rmvb to mpeg,when a convertion is completed,I play that mpeg using media classic player,it lost part of the movie at the end,since I play the rmvb file has no problem at all
anyone know what is the problem of it?

That is a question better left to the people who makes WinAVI.

The common opinion around here is that WinAVI is junk, and so far I haven't seen anything to change my mind.

I know nothing about WinAVI, but I wanted to point out that there are other tools that can convert RM. Super can do the job and so can an old program call TINRA. You might try using one of those to convert and see if what you get is complete. If so, then blame WinAVI.
