Create Midi Disc To Play On Karaoke Player
I bought a karaoke midi player that includes a midi disc that contains 7,700 karaoke songs with different video clips on its background. Sad to say, there were songs that I really liked which were not included on the midi disc. I have these songs on my computer on midi and kar file types. Now, I'm wondering how do I create a midi disc which could play on my karaoke midi player. (The player wherein you also have a karaoke songbook where you will find the song, then you put the corresponding number of the song using the remote control to play it) I searched the internet but there were no discussions pertaining to this. Does anyone know how to deal with it?

By the way, the karaoke that I bought was Karavision DVD - MiDi Karaoke System KMD-9800. Here's a webpage with the details of the player:

I hope someone would know how to make a midi disc. Thank you.

I got the above post from another site.My friend has one of this and asked me to make a backup of the disc which I did.I tried to access the content of the dvd to see all the songs in it but it wont show.. It only shows 3 folder one audio w/c is empty, one video_ts with 3.25 g on it,and a midio file with 3 sub folder Fontw/ 7.46 mb, fyphph w/749 mb, and info w/ 749 mb, all
are in DAT file.I need help to access those songs so i can create or turn them into a vcd karaoke..Thanks

There's only so much you can do with this type of machine (e.g. swapping bkgd graphics).

Read my past posts on the same subject...

edit: ***Note---these are Proprietary formats. That makes it much harder to reverse engineer.

(This older one also had some later PMs involving using CDMage, CDCvt, etc to Hexedit a CD discImage into including the material the OP wanted to include/replace, so it's slightly OT here)
