    hi guys,

    I was hoping you could help me find some software that can do the following:
    We have some movies on DVD's, and we need to be able to watch the video on it, listen to the sound, see the sound time line (like volume vs time) simlataneously, OR watch the video, see the saound timeline and scroll through video frames.
    Is there such a software that has these functionalities?

    You might try windows movie maker to start.

    Its free and has some editing ability.

    But for fuller features you'd be looking at spending some money for more power. Check the tools section on the left for more choices.
