is there a better/faster way to do what I'm trying to do? help!

ok, heres what i'm trying to do. i have all the x-files dvds (about 54 in total). i am trying to make cut-down dvds for my friend and i (i.e. just dvds of mythology episodes, not the whole series). so, this is what i'm doing:

1. use dvdfab decrypter to decrypt
2. use dvd shrink to remove other languages
3. use vob2mpg to convert them to mpegs
4. use main concept mpeg encoder to scale (so the full image appears on the tv) and convert to mpeg 1
5. use tempgenc dvd author to make new dvd (with about 7-8 episodes on it).

as you can tell, this takes forever and isn't even worth it. anyone know an easier or faster way to do this or am i SOL? thanks!
