Hi there. I want to know if anybody can help me out?
Here is the Scenerio. I have recorded old concerts from VHS to my 160GB Hard Drive in XP+ mode. Then I add a chapter marker at the begining of each song, so I can skip foward to song selection. One I add my titles & all is ready. I make a copy to HDD to DVD. Once the DVD is burned and I test it for playback. My DVD copy did not preserve my original chapter markers that were set in the HDD![]()
This has me bumed out.Is there a way of fixing this?
Thanks all for your time.

The pioneer 633 won't allow you to record in XP+ and preserve your original chapter markers. To preserve your original chapter markers you must use VIDEO MODE COMPATIBLE EDITING (not frame accurate editing) and you must use HIGH SPEED DUB when recording from HDD to DVD. You can only use high speed dub when content was recorded to HDD in XP, SP or lesser quality. High speed dud records to DVD in the same quality as was recorded to HDD.Originally Posted by monobum

Thanks!
I did not know this.
So when I'm on the Harddrive use VIDEO MODE to set my Chapters & No XP+.
When I burn my Disc I should always use the mode that says Most compatible with other DvD players.
I think I got it, once I run a test I'll let you know.
