    I'm attempting to author a dvd in tmpg enc. For the menu background, Im attempting to use a pic (jpg file). However I keep getting an error (can not open blah blah) with the file destination.

    I have tried with a jpg, bmp, and jpeg. All the same. Tried placing the file in a different folder. Same. Tried with different files. Same.

    Everything else in tmpg works fine. Can load and create and everything. Just cant load the pic for the background.

    Any ideas?

    Can you post the exact error message ?

    I add JPEGs as backgrounds all the time
    If in doubt, Google it.
