I read the following post on how to combine subtitle (*.srt) into a DVD
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/220351.php
I got the following install:-
1. DVD2SVCD
2. For encoder, I used version 2.524 (TMPG Encoder)
After running the program for a while, I got the following message in the log file:-
Executing SpuMux. Commandline:
"G:\Video Software\DVD2SVCD\DVDAuthor\spumux.exe" -m dvd -s 0 "G:\Subs\en1-1.xml" < "G:\MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg" > "G:\MPlex_Muxed_File00-subbed.mpg"
SpuMux failed for unknown reasons!
For details open: "G:\Subs\SpuMux_log.txt"
When I open the G:\Subs\SpuMux_log.txt, I see the following:-
G:\Video Software\DVD2SVCD\DVDAuthor>"G:\Video Software\DVD2SVCD\DVDAuthor\spumux.exe" -m dvd -s 0 "G:\Subs\en1-1.xml" 0<"G:\MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg" 1>"G:\MPlex_Muxed_File00-subbed.mpg"
The system cannot find the file specified.
Can anyone help me on why the files and not created?
Thanks

The obvous stuff...
is en1-1.xml there?
is MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg there?
What happens if you try to run that command-line manually? -
The directory G:\Subs is created and en1-1.xml is created but nothing is inside, coz the command is looking for the file:-
1. MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg
2. MPlex_Muxed_File00-subbed.mpg
Looking at the command, it looks for the 2 files but I dun know when the 2 files are created.
