I was wondering if there's a capture program that will let you adjust the bitrate for each show you set in your timed program list?
I use the fusion software that came with my fusion hdtv card because it works with titantv and is a good program. But what I'd like to do is to adjust the bitrate for individual shows. Say a higher bitrate for Star Trek and a lower bitrate for xfiles. That sort of thing. Or you know have a relatively low bitrate for a tv show but a higher bitrate for a movie.
I have ulead videostudio 8 se in addition to my fusion software. And of course I have virtualdub but I've never been able to get it to record above vcd level for some reason, I haven't fooled around with it enough for capturing purposes.
Suggestions are welcome. This is a curiousity rather than a immediate desire.
