    Sample mpeg: http://djnice.uw.hu/sample.mpg

This is an old commercial tape.
The chain: JVC HR-S7600 with TBC on --> AVT-8710 Full Frame TBC --> Sony RDR-HX710 DVD Recorder with Profigold s-video cables.

    How to fix it?

  2. I haven't viewed the movie yet, but I sometimes get a jumping frame. FF and RW the tape usually always fixes it for me.

I tried it, but the border (side) of the magnetic tape is wavy, what i say is this caused.

A quick way to stop the jumping would be to get a panasonic ES-10 DVD recorder. It has some king of Stabilzer/Corrector in it that stops jumpy & jittery picture. Use it as a Pass Thru. Bad thing about they stop making them, but you might find one on Ebay. I personally have use it, its like magic. Several other here have attested to its workings.

The JVC is auto tracking (B.E.S.T. System).

  7. The tape is damaged, likely stretched. JVC S-VHS units that have digipure have a stabilizer with a toggle funtion of the digital noise reduction feature that will stop it from jumping.

The TBC/DNR button or another stabilizer from menu? My setup: JVC HR-S7600 with TBC/DNR button on, but the jumping picture still have.

No, it's a different function than the TBC. It's accessed from the menu. Something like "Image Stabilization"...da, I can't remember. It's pretty obvious though.
