Hi everybody, I need some help, I'm just putting some home movies on dvd using PowerProducer to capture it and edit it, but the footage so far is something over 7gb, and I want everything to fit on a single 4.7gb dvd.
What format can I change the current movies to, to make them smaller, but still retain somewhat good quality, and of course still be able to be burned as a dvd file?
Thanks for your time 8)

can't you change the output file size in powerproducer? like lower the video quality / video bitrate.

What format are they in at this stage. Straight DV is about 13 gigs per hour. MPG2 ( DVD format ) can vary according to bitrate used during its compression. As far as the "format",,, you have no choice other than MPG. For best quality MPG2 NTSC 720x480 resolution. Audio can be Huge (PCM)
or smaller AC3 ( needs plugin )
No way we can advice since you have not given any specifics on the project itself. No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
