i have used it once and it did fine and plays on my standalone but i was wondering how much of the video uses up the disk. i was wondering if i could put 2 movies on one disk and how i would be able to tell... anyone familiar with this program and can tell me where/how to look

ConvertXtoDVD has a quality/speed setting, and a disc size. The highest quality setting will usually try to get a result pretty close to the calculated bitrate. That said, you can probably get close to 3 hours (i.e. 2 x 90 minute movies) on a disc. You might have to use Shrink to get the last couple of % back into the target size. As to the quality . . . . to a large degree dependent on the source. Expect it to be softer than the original, with possibly some macro-blocking on fast motion.
