Hi
I get the error "MEMORY CANNOT BE READ" after encoding a AVISYNTH script with AVISource (when it is finished) , but if I change to DirectShowSource that doesn't occur
With CCE I get the same error, I don’t know what to do
The strange is that if I load a AVISYNTH script directly with CCE and then click EXIT button I get “MEMORY CANNOT BE READ”, but only with AVISource….
I use the latest version of AVISYNTH, and have a Pentium D system
What is causing this error ?

It sounds like you have either an old codec version, or perhaps an incorrect codec assigned to a particular type. By switching to DirectShow you are using a different codec that doesn't crash. You can either continue to use DirectShow (which isn't a problem), or use g-spot to determine what codec you are using, codec sniper to kill it, and then install the latest version.
Read my blog here.

thanks for your reply
I deleted the MPEG-1 MP3 codec with the codec_sniper toll and there was no more errors with CCE or AutoQmatEnc...but now I get this info :
GSPOT :
codec : 0x0055(MP3, ISO) MPEG-1 Lay
stat : Codec(s) installed
VDub :
Unknown TAG 0055
BUT although I have unknown tag 0055 with VDUB I can have (hear) sound with Windows Media Player, or WMP Classic or NERO SHOW TIME
---
I tried to download Fraunhofer MP3 from www.free-codecs.com, but then I get again the error from CCE or AutoQMATenc
Please, what MP3 codec must I use with VDUB that doesn't crash my CCE or AUTOQmatEnc ???
I need to use VDUB
