  1. Can anyone recommend a portable digital audio recorder. I want to capture sounds to add later to a video and wondered if there is a better tool for this than just recording with my digi-cam. I'm looking for something under $500. Thanks.

A device such as iriver t30mx portable mp3 player record's audio , though external quality mic should be used ... $100+au ... if aiming at these device's amke sure it say's recordable on the box , and check the content has the correct model ... too many shop's stuff this up .

    Or one of my recent purchase's , a sony portable cassette recorder (tcm-200dv) .. 2x double recoding / playback .. voice activation .. 25 hour's recording ... variable tape speed control ... $150+au
