    Ah, yes.. "Panic Room"..
    Why not just disconnect the digital's cable out from the card, while
    leaving the analog cable in. Then, proceed to record or whatever,
    and see if you still suffer from this interference (or crossover) ??

    I too suffer from similar noise. It would seem that my analog cable
    is to blaim for most of my noisy captures. Because, whenever I run
    my vcr (or connected dvd recorder's output) to my PC's, I get this
    humming bar (video, not audio) that floats upward throughout the video.
    But, when I record directly from the vcr or dvd recorder (w/out any
    connections to my pc) the video is clean from interference.

    Therefore, I think that the nearest conslusion of this interference is
    something to do with the wire (Cable's) grounding outside, and is most
    likely at the box. Anyways, that's my theory for both of us.
    (you can either leave it, or lump it)
