    i have a mpeg that is too big to fit on one disc so i need something that can split in half so i can put it on 2 discs

    Use TDA, cut the file at the point that you want it to end, then open another TDA project an cut it from the point where you want the 2nd disc to begin.

    I suppose SPAMMER would render the work as you desire. For this first you have to record and convert the mpeg into wav format and then you can split it into two halves.

    You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning.

    Absurd advice from a spammer. You cannot convert an mpeg to a wav to cut it (or do anything else useful with it)

    If the current bitrate is very high, you might be able to re-encode it to a lower bitrate and get it all on one disc. Rejig can transcode mpegs, which is OK if you are only over by a small amount(say, less than 5 - 10 %)
