VCD Help Please

I've just bought a DVD from Hong Kong. It's a ntsc video but maybe isn't a dvd but a video cd.
My problem is that my player can't read the disc and when i put it in it automatically ejects it after a while.
I'm running win XP pro, ATI Playcenter, power DVD.
Any suggestion?

sounds like you are beeing stopped by the region setting on your dvd/rom, there are firmware downloads to make most dvd/roms region free. You have to now the model number of your dvd/rom and then try and find them.
