I've been trying to download the latest version for Mac OSX (am using 10.4.7). I'm able to download the full file, but at the moment it begins to mount, I get the message "POSIX error" and that's it: nothing else happens. It has happened several times already.

    What could be the problem?

  2. I can't even get the download to initiate. Is the ftp server down?

  3. The server is up right now. Try to use Firefox if Safari has problems.

is there a mirror or alternate download site, the one linked on the download page is not accepting any more downloads, your bandwidth limit has been exceeded or something, for the last 4-5 hours I have been getting nothing but timeouts or something along the lines of "There are already 700 users logged in come back in 10 minutes"

  5. I couldn't get it to download with safari or an ftp program but it worked fine in Firefox.

I just gave up for a little while and came back and it did finally work, although the speed was pretty low, took about 15 minutes to complete, but did complete nonetheless.
