    Is there a program out there that will convert a pal dvd to ntsc automaticly and with good results?

    No, not really. But here are a few methods and guides: https://www.videohelp.com/convert#4;41

    The DGPulldown method is probably the easiest, but not always compatible with all players. PAL>NTSC conversion can be a fairly complex operation to get good results. Especially if you want to keep everything on the DVD, including menus, etc.

    There are some region free dvd players that can play pal in the ntsc region.

    Another option is to get a hacked xbox and play it back and capture it onto a dvd recorder or your capture card. A few downsides though - no 5.1, no menus, and its a realtime dub. But you don't have to do hours of converting, its just the lenght of the video. Then you can author your own menus.
