I've slowly been getting on the stargate bandwagon.

I finally got cable so now I can catch the new season coming in just a few weeks. (I've got the second season on official dvd - the rest I'm slowly capping to the computer and making my own dvds off of scifi).

Whats going on at the end of last season? I know Anderson isn't a regular anymore and Beau Bridges is the new general for last season.

What was the cliffhanger?? When will they repeat the last show before the new season starts?
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I don't know if you've noticed, that since the last season, they stopped
screwing the Telecine source, and now these newer series are ivct capable
100% of the time. This is good (or greater to some) news.

Just thought I'd post this fact.

You should also check out SG-Atlantis. It's really good good spin-off
to SG-1. At first, I didn't agree with it, cause SG-1 was the last and
final of this sort, and also.. I found that SG-1 has been running for
like 10 or 11 seasons, sheesh.

    On SG-1..
Now, they added on two new famus stars, Farscape char's John Criton and
Erin. Not as their original Farscape char's. When I first saw them on,
I thought, no.. not like this. But, then I started to watch them, and I
gotta say, they are doing a great job. So, in a way, they seem the be
the band-aid for keeping SG-1 going for another few more seasons or so.

    On SG-Atlantis..
I do believe that they even "cross-over" these two (Farscape char's) from
SG-1 into this series too now. I think I saw the previews expanding on
this now. Looks like SG-A is finally being able to communcate back to
SG-1 (aka, comming home) or something like that.

To be honest with you, I haven't seen *every* episode of each. Lately,
I've been very busy in other things that kept me from viewing these two
great shows. So, I may be off on a few plots and things

These are great shows, and I miss watching them on my antenna connections
on channel WB20 every Saturday evening w/ my spagetti and soda routine

    You need nothing more.

The SG-1 cliffhanger was the Ori sent ships through the just-found supergate on the edge of the Milky Way. Carter was stranded floating in space while she watched Ori ships destroy Hatak and Earth cruisers from the newly formed alliance between Earth, Jaffa and the Lucien Alliance. A pregnant Vala is shown looking through a window on one of the Ori ships.

The Atlantis cliffhanger was Michael (the "converted" Wraith) tricked and double-crossed the Atlantis team into giving them the coordinates to Earth. The Wraith engage light engines with Earth as the destination. Much of Mitchell's team is hostage on the Wraith hive ship.

    Thanks for the heads-up, LS.

Gee, sure wish there were a way to jot special events like these any time
I need a reminder of something comming up. Like, a pop-up reminder in my
sys tray area. Nothing too BEAFFY, just a tiny, like a 20kb size app.
And, as much as we like reminders (LS) you're not always available, but..

Anybody know of something like this ??
(please, nothing w/ tons of functions or resource-hungry)

Now, I gotta purge my new dvd recorder's HDD soon
