What's the differnece between a MDTV and a regular dlp tv? I was looking into getting a:

    Mitsubishi 62" Widescreen Digital-Cable-Ready DLP Rear-Projection HDTV w/HDMI Inputs ($2,599.99)

    and came across this:

    HP Pavilion MD6580n 65-inch 1080p Microdisplay TV ($4,199.99)

anyone know anything about microdisplay HDTVs. Are they better then regular DLP HDTVs?

HP came up with what is known as Wobulation. Bascially, instead of using a full 1920x1080 resolution chip, they cut the vertical resolution in half and "wobble" the chip to give you the full resolution. So it's kind of like an interlaced display that only shows every other line, except that this does it a hell of a lot faster so you don't have the same drawbacks of interlaced displays/signals.

    They're both DLPs in essence.
