    Hello all,
I have DV footage that I will be using with virtual dub in order to use the delogo filter. Just wondering, after I have applied to filter, what format should i output??? Should I just use uncompressed AVI, or should i download a DV encoder.
    Thanks!

That would depend on what your destination is. What is your end goal?

Read this link and ask there. As Clinton would say "I feel your pain". Unlike Clinton, I'm seeking a solution. So far it is one decompress generation down to use Vdub filters.

Well my final output would be MPEG-2 (to be burned to DVD).
An idea popped into my head but i'm not sure if it will work. Seeing as I'm using Sony Vegas to edit my work, would a program like WAX 2.0, that integrates into Vegas and allows the use of Vdub filters do the job (without needing to recompress)?

well, on first try, i get get the delogo plugin to do what it's supposed to when using it with WAX. I go through all of the configuration options and all, but it leaves no effect on the video.
Any other ideas of hiding a network logo using Vegas alone?

Make sure you have the preview in Wax set to Best Quality (Full), before closing Wax and going back to Vegas.

Nope, couldn't get the Delogo filter 1.3.2 for virtual dub working with the combination of Wax (2.0e) and Sony Vegas (6.0c). I go through the configuration options, but the video is left untouched by the filter once finished with the configurations (works in vdub). Has anyone been able to get this to work in Vegas???

Sorry, I've only used it with Wax and Editstudio Pro, I don't have Vegas. I don't know if it's similar in Vegas or not, but to work properly in Editstudio I had to make sure the preview monitor was set to best quality both within Editstudio, and in Wax when I opened it as a plugin.

The other option would be to install the DebugMode Frameserver, use Wax as a standalone app, and then frameserve from Wax into Vegas.
