    Hi guys newbie here.

Well the title pretty much says it all:
    1) I want to know if the .toast file created by using the same as disk image option in toast is the same as a .iso file?

    2) Furthermore, if i were to send this .toast file to friend who has a pc, would they be able to burn the image with a program like nero?

    3) If it is possible for my friend to do this, are there any alterations thay need to do before they can burn?

I have some further questions in regards to conversions etc but will post in mac forum.

    thanks for your replies

ISOBuster should be able to extract the .toast file to a regular BIN/CUE PC file. Some report success by just changing the extension to .iso.

    And welcome to our forums.
