I tried to burn 2 AVIs into one DVD, but Avi2DVD won't let me. it says somthing like "job 2 cannot have the same output as job 1." job 1 is my 1st avi and job 2 is my 2nd avi. if AVi2DVD doesn't work, what can I burn 2 AVIs into one DVD. I want to watch it on DVD Player on TV.

Do you want the two files as seperate titles on the same DVD, or do you want it to join the files into one continuous title ?

https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=1531467#1531467 might assist of it is the latter.

For the former I would assume that you need to put the two AVIs into the same job. I'm not familiar with the software though so I can't tell you how to do it.
    If in doubt, Google it.

from the link you gave me, it says to rename the 2 AVIs into xxcd1.avi and xxcd2.avi. I did rename my 2 AVIs into cd1.avi and cd2.avi. but when i add cd1.avi as job 1, it doesn't seek out cd2.avi as job 2. help! please!

From what I was able to read, it does not seek out cd2.avi as job 2 - it joins cd1.avi and cd2.avi and processes them both as Job 1.

    [EDIT]

    from http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/article_avi2dvd_page1.html :

    File preparation:

Put avi, ogm, mkv, or wmv file(s) and subtitles in a simple path such as D:\Movie. Let’s say your first half of a movie is your CD1 and your second half is your CD2

If you have a movie with 2 parts, for example, rename them like this: Test CD1.avi and Test CD2.avi
For subtitles, do the same like this: Test English CD1.srt, Test English CD2.srt, Test French CD1.srt, Test French CD2.srt

The CD1, CD2, CD3 etc…are important for Avi2DVD to accept and arrange your files correctly. Now let’s load Avi2DVD to start the guide

    Step 1: Input

With Avi mode selected, press “Load avi/ogm/mkv/wmv. On the Open dialog, you just browse to D:\Movie, open the Test CD1.avi, and Avi2DVD will automatically load all the files for you.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  6. I am using avi2dvd and when I follow the instructions and get to the end and press GO I get a message that is asking me to select an audio stream yet on the drop down menu there is no options to choose from. Does anyone know how I can enter an audio stream?

    Thanks

It says it didn't burn successfully, and I don't remember what the error pop up said. But what is the problem? THe VOBs were okay, is it DVD Shrinks problem? Please help before I burn another DVD!!!! I don't want to waste another DVD. By the way, the error DVD I burned out played fine, just that it did not burn the entire thing, like it stopped I meant frozed at 3/5 of the length when I played it with my stand alone DVD player.
