Sounds like marketing hype to me.

But I don't have first hand experience so thats just a feeling.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I suspect that's the case - but who knows.

I looked into the Maxell DVDRPRO. Great product, but it is not printable. Got that right from the Maxell rep. They go for about $2 each also. Claims to be 40 times scratch resistant and 20 times dirt resistant. TDK makes one also. It is a -R. TDK's adds show kids using one as a puck on an air hockey machine. Read about the Verbatim and assume it is good also. Question is: Do they go for $2 each and are they printable.

I have some of the Verbatim discs. They are more resistant. I used them for discs I tend to use more regular than normal. So far, pretty clean even after repeated use (and some clumsy moments).

I got them free for buying something else last year. Not sure what they cost.

I paid $5 for 5 at Staples. Haven't tried 'em yet.
