I guess now my question is (if I should open another thread let me know) If you are building a home theater room, how would you go about placing this in the wall since you cannot crimp it at home? Also, since longer distances are bad, would the a/v cabinent need to be in the back by the projector?

you can run premade hdmi cables through a wall - though it is more difficult ... OR you can run hdmi over Cat5/6 with converters ...
you can run long distances with cat 5/6 and you also can get hdmi repeaters for longer distance ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
