  1. iam using winavi to convert from avi to dvd. i use dvd shrink to burn all was fine. for some reason in the last two weeks i have problems. i use winavi and it converts fine i use dvd skrink and all burns fine. i put the dvdrw into my stand alone dvd player and it plays the movie fine until about 30 minutes. after this the picture freezes but the voloume and speech are fine. i try and go to the next chapter and still the same thing. when i burn a bin and cue file everthing works fine. iam i missing a file or something. i cannot figured this out. i have tried dvd santa and divxtodvd with the same problem what iam doing wrong.

    Could be a number of things:

    - First, you're not using DVDShrink to burn. It uses DVDDecrypter, Nero, or CopyToDVD to burn. I think you can even configure it to use IMGBurn.
    - Is the same freezing behaviour present when played on a PC ?
    - What happens if you burn to a DVDR instead of a DVDRW ?
    - Is it possible the source video has errors in it ?

  3. when i play it back on the pc there is no freezing at all. i wonder if iam missing a file or something.

    I wonder if your DVDRW is going bad.
