I've got an AVI file which plays fine in VLC and Media Player Classic.
When I load it in Avi2dvd it does not seem to be able to use it: the "Film information" is all zeros, there is no audio stream selectable.
    GSpot analysis attached.
Is it a codec problem? if so, I apparently have the codecs, so how do I let Av2dvd find them?

Maybe try decompressing the audio to WAV in virtualdub ?

Open the file, go to Video > Direct Stream Copy, go to Audio > Full Processing, then go to File > Save as AVI.

Be aware that this will output a file around 700MB in size. Then try loading that file into AVI2DVD.
    If in doubt, Google it.
