Right, I would like people to post ideas for software designers so that they may include these tools into their editors. If there is software out there that does what is suggested by people please tell us! Hopefully this will become a reference point for software people may need.

My suggestions are to do with audio

1)The ability to add channels of audio and add tracks to those channels. this would effectively be called stereo x 2 editor (simulated 5.1 not)

2)The ability to "pin" audio (graphically) at the start and end of a clip in any format which would sync audio throughout the tack.
