Hi,
i know this is a really old thing these days but i really need to make a copy of my old VHS tape onto another VHS tape, and just need to know how to connect two VCRS together.
Can someone please give me instructions on how i can do this, and what leads etc i would need.
Thanks

Standard VHS VCR should have at least one video out (yellow RCA) and if stereo, two audio out (red and white RCAs). Connect these to the corresponding video in (yellow) and audio in (red and white for stereo). Set the recording VCR to the AV channel. Hit record, hit play on the other, and wait until it is finished.

If you have a DVD Recorder, then you should try connecting it between the two VCRs and using it in passthru mode by passing the playback VCR output through it to the record VCR input. This should improve the timing stability of the playback signal, resulting in a better looking copy.

Remember to set the source of the recording on the recording VCR. It needs to be set to Line-in or Line-1 or 2. Otherwise, it will record from the tuner.
