I have a bunch of MPEG (I believe they are MPEG-2) video files that were the output of a TV-Turner card atteched to my PC. I got these files by recording programs (movies, and such) off of TV through the TV-Tuner card and they were all saved as mpeg files. I would like to convert these to VOB files and then edit some of them using DVD Shrink or some other program and then burn them on DVDs. Any suggestions on a decent program that converts mpeg to VOB?

I believe I have to have them converted in order to read them into DVD Shrink because I don't see where DVD Shrink can read mpeg files (just VOB files from what I can gather).

    Thanks.

If your mpegs are DVD compliant then you can author them with any authoring program, I use TDA. TDA can also do basic editting at the same time, no need for DVDShrink if that's all you need.

How do you find out if the mpegs are DVD compliant? All I know is that the TV-Tuner saved them as mpeg-2 files.

Look to the upper left for 'What is' DVD. You will see the specs of the DVD format there. <<<<<<

I don't think I will be able to use that TDA. I have Windows 2000 but I dont have a Pentium 4 or anything equivalent.
