I have The Invisible Man S1, Region 1 and I tried to back it up today. Disc 1 went fine, but now the other discs I get this weird DVDDecrypter error message about "This disc should not have CSS but it does".
I've tried both DVDDecrypter and DVDFab Decrypter (which won't even finish backing it up at all), but DVDDecrypter will only allow a backup if I leave the CSS in.
I tried AnyDVD, no luck. Any other suggestions on a freeware tool I could use for this?

Are you sure you have the LATEST VERSION of DVDFAB DECRYPTER?

Man, never seen that error message.
Beats me.
But since you asked, maybe try this for the hell of it, even if it's not structurally protected:

Yes, using the most recent DVDFab. I don't know about that other suggestion, I read most of that page and didn't understand a lot of it, a bit more experienced than I have done so far. Maybe if nothing else works I'll give that a shot, but are there any other ideas from others?
Thanks for the thoughts so far, please keep 'em coming...My gear:
- JVC HR-S9911U SVHS VCR
- Datavideo TBC-1000
- JVC DR-M10 DVD writer
- Sony Steadyshot DCR-TRV340 NTSC Digital8 Camcorder
