I am wondering if there is a way of saving an Mpeg-2 movie using Virtualdub-Mpeg2. I have a movie clip that I have applied some filters in Virtualdub-Mpeg2 and would like to save it as mpeg2. However,I am at a loss as to how to do that. I would appreciate any help. All suggestions are welcome

You can't really save as MPEG from VirtrualDubMPEG2. You can frameserve to an MPEG2 encoder via File -> Start Frameserver.

Thanks for all the replies. What I did was to save the clip as avi, after saving the audio as wav. I then frameserved the avi clip using using virtualdub-mpeg2 and CCE basic. The wav was encoded into ac3 using BeSweet(guide avalable here) and then muxed using tmpgenc express. Now, to my biased eye it looks better than what I started with. But then it could be that I would like to think my efforts made a difference. Thanks a lot to all those who replied
