    it doesn't work
    msg is "can not open or is not unsupported"
    when i try to convert from .avi to .mpeg files
    could you help me???

    Hey miniricky,

    I have Tmpg with Xp and it seems to open up and everything ok. Although I haven't actually encoded with XP yet. Is your problem only on encoding?

    actually, i can't open the .avi files
    ihave this message "can not open or unsupported file"
    it only works with mpeg files which is useless
    tell me if it works...

    try changing the settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow and increase the priority to 1 and try open the video

    also make sure that you have the DiVX codecs installed. once i got those installed it will load and encode AVI great.
