    Hey all
I wanted to know, is their a way I could possibly convert multiple vob's to avi format. I know their is a way I could just choose my settings, then choose a whole directory to convert, then choose the output directory. I just want to be able to convert a directly instead of chooseing files one by one. Forgive me if this was mentioned. I just couldnt find a direct answer.

    Again Im using virtualdub mpeg2.

    Thanks

  2. Hi-

You could decrypt using DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode with no file splitting and then open just the one VOB file. After decrypting the normal way you could use PGCDemux to get one big M2V and AC3 file. Or, best of all, you could open all the VOBs in DGIndex and create a D2V Project file for frameserving via an AviSynth script file. That's how informed people do it.

Thanks for your reply manono but I think you misunderstood me, the multiple vob's are different movies which I want to be converted, but I would like to use batch convert so I dont have to go one bye one.

  4. Hehe, yep, you're right. I figured you had gotten multiple vobs from decrypting a DVD of an entire movie. Of course, you didn't mention that the vobs were from different sources, either. I don't know of any way to set them up only once, but encode them all separately, if that's what you're asking. Maybe by saving the VCF file (Save Processing Settings) for the first vob, and then loading it (Load Processing Settings) for each vob after that. That should save you a little bit of time.

Oh youre right, I forgot to mention that part. I guess I could do that, it should cut down on alot of time spent putting my options. I'll go try that out now. Once again manono youve been a great help.
