There seems to be a field order problem with the new release of X-Files. I ran season 1, disc 2 last night and and it was pretty annoying. Most noticable at the camera changes with a flicker and once in a while some pan jerk. Maybe my older Sony player is the problem but it plays everything else fine. The night before I played disc 1 on my new Pioneer and there were no problems so it might be limited to either disc 2 or the Sony player.
Has anyone else encountered this?

All my X-Files discs play fine. Did you check for black ooze on the disc?
Seriously, it might be the player or it could be the disc. Try the disc in another player. My season 1's work fine.
