Hey everybody, let's see if anyone can help me.
I'm about to sell my Hauppauge PVR 500 (for a very good price) and get a new card. I think I'm gonna try avi-dv capturing, but I have some issues.
Is there any hardware encoder avi-dv card that will accept schedule?
I always schedule WinTV2000 to capture some TV shows, almost daily, and leave other softwares running cause I know I won't have dropped frames.
Will any other card capture avi-dv using its own hardware, support scheduling and full screen when just watching TV?
I tune the channels using a VCR and composite output. When scheduling I just program the software and leave the VCR on the channel I need.
Also I leave in Brazil and here is PAL-M :/
Any advice?
If there aren't cards that capture avi-dv as I specified, feel free to suggest MPEG2 hardware encoder cards.
Thanx.
