    hi i tried to convert my american pie 2.avi file using tmpg enconder, when i browse for the mocie an error comes up "could not be opened or what ive done is not supported", i have tried to use VIRTUAL DUB BUT DONT HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO DO SO, WOULD ANYONE HELP ME SORT THIS OUT PLZ, IF U COULD GIVE ME EASY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS I WOULD BE SOOOO GREATFUL, THANX!

    just install em it gives windows the ablity to play/convert etc almost all the files you can find i use the crystal studio pack that seems to cover almost all formats
