    I tried to search the forums, 'cause I'm sure this have been asked before, but i couldn't find any helpful subjects.

    Q: I have a DVD (got the files on my computer), and I want to cut a part in the middle (about 4 minutes) and convert it to WMV. Which program should I use?

    Use DVDShrink's "Re-Author" mode and select your in-out point to back up. After that use VOB2MPEG to change the vob to mpeg. Import the file into Windows Media Encoder for conversion.

    I found TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress Trial Version, which does the job perfectly!
