  2. i dont see how the cable modem is important but...if you have a cue file just use Fireburner or Blindwrite or CDRDAO.

  3. Thanks for your reply, and no a modem dosen't make any difference. How do you get the cue file?

    Thanks in advance!

  4. To burn CUE/BIN images: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/burning_cuebin_images.html

If you've only got the bin file without the cue file, you're in trouble...

  5. The best thing to do is open the Bin file in ISOBuster, and then extract all the files you need, then burn them with any cd writing sw.

  6. Unfortunately, that won't work for VCDs as you've destroyed the physical layout of the disc -- VCDs are not CD-ROMs.

There is one what you can near perfectly reconstruct your disc... If you use VCDXRIP that comes with VCDImager, it will extract all the media files, additional files , AND create an XML descriptor script of the VCD in just the BIN file.

You can then immediately use VCDXBUILD on the XML file to recreate a CUE/BIN image. This is the only method that will restore things like menus and chapters.

If the original VCD did not have menus, etc., and only had the movie, then you could use ISOBuster to extract the DAT file (or use VCDGear) and reauthor that as a VCD using Nero or other VCD authoring/burning proggy. For proggies other than Nero, I would strongly suggest you convert the DAT file back to standard MPEG (with VCDGear) first.
