  1. Hey, I use TMPG to encode and cut my movies, but i just started to encode the moviez at night when im sleeping so i can save myself some time. And now to my question, how do I encode a "batch" of files in TMPG?? I tryed "BATCH ENCODE" and it does some weird stuff. So can u help me out?? THANKZ

    Okey, in TMPGenc, when you have done all the settings you need to make a perfect MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 Instead of Hiting the "Encode" or "Start" button (depending on version) you choose. File -> Add current Project to Batch list, and then you have added it. You can close that screen that comes up by clicking the close button.

    Then load the next file and do all the settings for that one and then do the same thing, Add it to the Batch list...

    Then when you wanna Run, just Choose File->Batch Encode and hit RUN.. and go to sleep!

    What lnetzel above should have also mentioned (not a slam, just adding more details) is that you have to first save your individual project files for each of your AVI files that you want to encode (I think it's a .tpr file extension) then hit the "Batch Encode". It's easy enough to do, but still I wonder why it took me so long to figure it out.
