how's the tsunami line different from tmpgenc line? particularly i'm concerned about tsunami dvd author and tmgenc dvd author... what's the difference?

"T" in TMPGEnc stands for Tsunami.

Tsunami is the retail packaged product versions initially only sold in the USA through a limited set of stores like Fry's, Microcenter, CompUSA often with rebate coupons.
