How to make my .wmv like that
When the dialog box appers asking to open the file or download the whole file first, the user chooses open and the video starts playing while downloading at the same time...?

well, first the server has to be setup to stream
then it will do what you want
personally, I make them dl the whole thing without preview so it's a surprise when they see it as it's meant to be seen by simply using Cats!

AFAIK it's all client side... depends on how they have there player setup. Simply putting a link like Zoobie does above will open the player, buffer it and start playing. That's under the assumption that they don't right click and select "save as"

If you want to take it a step futher you can embed the player in a page.
