  1. Pretty new to this VCD things, but im very familiar with computers.

I looked around this site (How to's and forum) trying to solve my problem, now its your turn, lol. I just got my hands on the Lord Of the Rings trilogy audio book in mp3 format(~170 megs) and i would like to put it in an audio format playable by my standalone DVD. I would just burn in audio cd format but its 13 1 hr files(10+ cds!!, no way im gonna do that). I figure that vcds must have a highly condensed audio format or else they couldn't fit all that video in also. I thought of maybe making the video extremely low quality of 1 color @ 1X1 pixles or something so i could maybe make the whole thing audio. I don't know if that will work or if there's a piece of software that could do it 4 me. Or maybe i could make a slideshow with very few photos(13) and pair an hour of audio with each??

any ideas suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated

Try Tigerwolf's TMPG template. Decompress the .mp3 to .wav before encoding to .mp2.
