I am new to video editing. I own an hatachi 550a digital mini cam. I did not like the bundled software so i tried a trial version of Video Studio 9. I successfully created a Dvd. Now the baffeling problem. I purchased the full version off e-bay. New and in the package. Valid serial number and all. The only diference is it is Video Studio SE, the traial version did not have the SE in the title. It came from australia. It lets me view the video clips from the camer, but when I try to import it comes back with an invalid parameter message. I know it has something to do with the software not being able to locate the file to import, but it lets me view it. As I said , the trail version worked fine. I am stumped on what to do about this.
Thanks in advance
Denise

1. Uninstall both, then install the full version and try again.
2. Call the tech support, you already paid for it.
3. It is a SE (aka special edition) for a particular PC or hardware bundle, and will only work with that configuration. -
SE is a stripped down version,if the seller stated "Full" then I would get my money back.
