  1. I have burned million VCDs trying different methods on easy cd creator 5. My computer reads it fine once the VCD is finished. But when I try to play it on a standalone DVD player, Toshiba 3715, it does not work. The LCD on the player shows play but it stops after a couple of seconds. I never get any visuals on TV. I have the original VCD through cd copy and this works. I am converting the files through easy cd and then I make the VCD. I have followed the process on the internet and I'm sure I'm doing all the steps correctly. I don't know what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

  2. i had this too, That wizard makes it look easy , guides you throught it, pretends all is going well, and then the disc it produces is just not a VCD!!
I think vcd are a kind of strange mixed mode, but EZcreator just produces a standard iso cdrom.

I sacked it off and used nero5 instead.
    worked first time.

  4. It could be your choice of blanks. Try some other brands. My Pioneer would not play my home brewed VCDs, but it did when I found the right blanks. I think the player is very picky and so I give it blanks that are as close to silver as possible. It works.

FWIW, my blanks are TY, HP (which I hear are also TY), and TDK. I also stay away from 80min blanks.

Also, I have burned VCDs using EZ CD Creator (it was an emergency) and they worked just fine. I'd check different blanks first before trashing your software.

That being said, I really like burning with VCDeasy the best. It's got a great interface and it seems always clear what you are doing (most of the time ).

like i said in your last post the you need to first figure out the CORRECT model number for your player. there is no mention of a model 3715 on toshibas site or in the player list here so please stop duping threads and do what you are being told.
    peace out,

  6. Ok, so the model is 3750 and not 3715. It should read VCDs.
