  1. I have a DVD that I think subtitles are embedded within the VOB files. Under the VIDEO_TS folder, there are 6 VOB files, VIDEO_TS, VTS_01_0 to VTS_01_4. I think VTS_01_1 to VTS_01_4 are the actual video episodes. When I load VTS_01_1 to VTS_01_4 into DVDSubEdit, nothing shows under "current subpic info". So I decided to load VTS_01_0, which crashed DVDSubEdit to desktop. Does anybody have any idea what's going and how to correctly do this?

  2. Corectly doing what, editing embeded subtitles or looking if they are not? DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink will list you the existing audios and subs.
    Cann't tell it's possible don't tell anything.

  3. I tried DVD Shrink, it does not show any of the subtitles because I think they are embedded right within the video. As for DVD Decrypter, I could not figure out how to use it. For the "source", it would only allow a physical DVD drive, but the file I am trying to modify is on hard drive.

if shrink doesn't show any selectable subs, then they were hardcoded into the video stream and not removable.
